Wilma Joyce Mobley (Turner) was born on November 18, 1951 in Sanger, Texas to Carl Rudolph Newberry "Strawberry" and Mae Ella Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Cecil and Allie Newberry. Her brother Willie Jordan, son Sean Watson, and stepson Rodney Mobley.

On Monday, March 21, 2022, God welcomed Wilma Joyce Mobley home for her eternal rest. Her love and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends, including her mother: Mae Ella Mitchell of Oklahoma City, husband: Ivory Mobley, two sons: Stevon C. Turner (Betty) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Phillip Bowens of Seattle, Washington. Daughter: Eraka N. Bowens-Hodge (Darnell), two sisters: Sharon Jordan, Debra Brown (Clinton), four brothers: Timothy Turner (Connie), Wayne Jordan (Daisy), Artemis Mitchell, and Kennedy Mitchell all of Oklahoma City. Stepsons: Ivory E. Mobley II, and Quentin Mobley both of Missouri, and Chris Mobley of Kansas. Stepdaughter Sylvia Mobley of Kansas, twenty-two grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
