Vincent Eric West (better know as Skip) was born August 19, 1963 in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born to Eugene and Faylese West, the
fourteenth of fourteen children. The attend Parker Elementary, Telstar Elementary,
Rogers Middle School and received his Diploma of Completion from Star Spencer
High School, graduating in the class of 1981.  Vincent was a member of the
undefeated 1973A State Championship Basketball team.
He attended Southwest Technical College and received Certification for Electronic
Technician in 1982.

He surrendered his live to Christ at the age of 10 was baptized by Dr. O. B.
Burrough of the Hillwood Missionary Baptist Church of Spencer, Oklahoma.  He
enjoyed Sunday School and was a member of the Youth Choir and Youth Usher
ministries.  Vincent later joined St. Luke Baptist Church and remained faithful
until his health began to fail.

Vincent met and married the love of his life, Vonsetta Elaine Peters, they were
married 36 years. Vincent and Laine were blessed with two beautiful daughters
and two adorable Grandlovies.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather
(Pop-Pop.  His parents, grandparents and four brothers preceded him in death.  He
is survived by his wife; Laine, two daughters; Brittanee and Mikkal; two Grandlovies,
Brittance and Kamari; three sisters; Wanda, Della and Sandra (Dwight); Five brothers;
Bert (Jacqueline), Leo (Debra), Cleo, Terry (Ann) and Elvin (LaRhonda), in-laws Tonya
(Kenneth J.), LaDonna (Perry) and James (Kim) one aunt Irene West and a host of nieces,
nephews and cousins.
