On December 16, 1935, Stancy Nephew was born to Robert and Sarah Fulton Nephew in Guthrie, OK. His parents had eleven children, seven boys and four girls.

On August 16, 1954, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged on July 21, 1958. He reenlisted in the U.S. Air Force on October 18, 1960 and served until he was honorably discharged on November 30, 1976.

Stancy accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. He was an honored member of both St. Paul Methodist Church and Beebe Chapel.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Jewel Nephew along with host of other relatives and friends.
