Miss Shaniece Vick was born on May 25, 1988 in Midwest City, OK to Sonja Hicks and Willie Vick Sr.

Shaniece known as Shawn by those who knew and loved her. Shawn graduated as Salutatorian of the Millwood High School class of 2006. She loved children and found deep joy in the presence of children and family. She was drawn to Mayjor Connelly and together they gave birth to her beloved Malachi. She loved doing hair and her creativity as a beautician worked its way into hair designs.

She was baptized at the Church of the Living God in Oklahoma City, where she was active in the choir and youth group. After years of struggle, Shawn succumbed to her health, December 26, 2021.

Miss Vick is survived by her son, Malachi Connelly, her mother Sonja Hicks, her brother, Willie Vick Jr., her Memaw Mary Spights, her nieces, her nephews and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather Bob Stafford, her son Elias Vick, her father Willie Vick Sr., and her bonus dad Michael Hicks.
