Ms. Ruthie Lee McDonald was born on January 1, 1950 in Tallulah, Louisiana to her parents, Pat and Matilda Scott Sr. She met Mr. Joseph (Joe) Weaver and they were in love. Ms. McDonald worked for the Guthrie Public Schools as a custodian until she retired.

She enjoyed watching Westerns & SciFi on TV, reading her Bible, and listening to music. She was a spritual and godly woman, but very quiet at times. She brightened the lives of her friends and family with a simple smile. She never met a stranger.

Ms. McDonald is survived by her children: Abe McDonald Jr. (Washington), Donna McDonald (Joplin, Kenny (Debi) McDonald, and Joann Weaver. Her grandchildren: Steven (Mary) McDonald, Terrance (Cassie) McDonald, Kent and Byron McDonald, and Morgan McDonald. Her brother Tommie Ross, Alberta Davis.

She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Naziree Drake, Mary Barnes, Pat Ross, Willie Lee Netters Sr., and George Netters.
