Russell McDonald " Poppy" was born October 22, 1921. He was the youngest of 2 children and the son of the late Woody McDonald and Cleata Handcock-McDonald.

Russell was united in holy matrimony on January 23, 1946 to Mary E. McDonald. They had two children, Pat Wofford and Marshall (Bo) McDonald, of Oklahoma City, and Spencer, Oklahoma.

Russell McDonald is reunited with his parents, his sister, his bestfriend Bill Lee, and his first wife Helen Franklin. He leaves to cherish his memory, his two children, Pat and Bo, his only nephew, Arthur B. Hurst, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and a host of extended nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

My Father's House

Family this is where I am with the Father, do not worry, fret or have sorrow. I am at peace, no more trials, tears, pain or any of the sufferings that found on earth. Here is beautiful with the angels and the heavenly choir. Prepare yourselves so that you may see the wonderful home that awaits everyone who can have this to.
