Ruby Jean Vick was born February 25th, 1945 in Vernon, Ok to Willie and Luetencie Watson, who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Elbert Harrison Vick Sr.  with whom she shared in raising their children with a Christian foundation.

Ruby is the eldest of twelve siblings, two of whom preceded her in death, brother (Kenneth Watson) and sister (Patricia Rideau), both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, (James Ford, Deonna Thomas Pennington and Orlando Smith).

A faithful wife and mother, Ruby leaves to mourn her children, Alfonso Thomas Jr., Koche (Calvin) Smith, Cheata Smith, Deborah Vick, Dilbert Vick (Rocena), Champagne Vick, Ericke Vick.  Her son Alonzo Thomas preceded her in death.  She also leaves to mourn her siblings Brothers Benny, Norman Gene, Willie, Chris and Cornelius Watson.  As well as sister Elaine Williams, Luetta Fitch and Tammie McClennon as well as Coreen and Carolyn Watson whom she also saw as her sisters.  One remaining Aunt who she grew up with as a sister (Shirley Russell), granddaughter Margaret Sharee Crain who she also saw more as a daughter and took her in to care for her during her last days.  As well as over 40 grand and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends whom she loved.
