Reverend Harold E. Burney, Sr. was born on January 4, 1946 to Richard and Juanita Burney in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Both parents and a sister preceded hi in death.

He married Darlene Ballard and to this union four children
were born: Lorie, Harold Jr., Mark and Christopher. He then moved
to Las Vegas, Nevada where he met Irma Kraft and a daughter was
born out of this relationship, Latricia.  Harold then met and married
Rene Dixon and to this reunion a son was born, Shawn.

Rev. Burney was a mortician and in the funeral home business
service for over 50 years. He worked at numerous funeral homes
to included Psalms (NV), Pollard (OK) and in his early days.

After many years of being away from home, he returned to Oklahoma
and joined his St. John Missionary Baptist Church Family. His love
for fishing and a ew relationship took him to Meridian, Mississippi,
where he again ventured off into opening a new business, Unique
Family Monuments.

He was a graduate of Douglass High School Class of 1964. He shall be
missed by all.
