Reginald R. Colbert was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Jean Colbert and Robert Rutledge on May 20, 1963.

Reginald attended Del City High and graduated in 1981. He went on to Southwest Technical College from 1986-1987 for paint and body, where he bonded with others and gained more brothers.

He developed a passion for landscaping and became very good at it. His work ethics stood out from the rest as you would have to stop him and say "Bro, let's take a break," just to make him slow down. He later worked for Sodexo in the lawn care department as well as OU Medical as a floor tech for many years.

Reginald is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Colbert and father, Robert Rutledge both of Oklahoma City; grandparents, Henry and Laura Colbert of Oklahoma City; a brother, Terrance Colbert of Oklahoma City; sister, Robbie Rutledge of Oklahoma City, and grandparents Bernice and Charlie Parker of Rosewell, New Mexico.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Reginald Williams of Spencer, OK; 2 daughters, Ashley D. Colbert of Oklahoma City, OK, and Alandra Colbert of Midwest City, OK; grandson, Champion Colbert; brothers, Butch Rutledge, Bryan Colbert, Greg Colbert, Vernon Colbert all of Oklahoma City, OK; Mike Rutledge of Paris, TX, Deangelo Williams, Gene Coffee of Oklahoma City and Reggie Rutledge; sisters, Tammy Turner, Elease Rutledge both of Oklahoma City, Marcella Williams of Paris, TX; 2 sisters-in-law, Amy Colbert and Shawn Colbert.
