On the morning of July 25, 2022, Rachel passed away peacefully at home of natural causes. Rachel was 81 years old. Rachel was born on April 27, 1941, in Idabel, OK.

She was the 8th child, and the first daughter of William and Blanch Pennon. Rachel had 10 brothers and 2 sisters: William, Cleophus, Mack, R. Dean, Lacy, Robert, Mary, Wardel, Charles Ray, Roy and Fignora.

Rachel was married to Noble Crosby Jr. She was the mother to three children: Jacquitta Couts, Angela Threatt and Noble Crosby III.

Rachel accepted Christ, was baptized and worshiped at Northeast Church of Christ for several years. Rachel attended college and obtained her Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

Left to cherish her memories: Jacquitta Couts (daughter), Aquanesha Hollin (granddaughter), Vantricia Couts (granddaughter), Noble Crosby IV (grandson), all of Oklahoma City, OK; Angela J. Threatt (daughter) of Greenville, NC;  Fignora Pennon (sister) of Del City, OK; Robert Pennon (twin brother) of Tatum, OK; Lacy Pennon (brother) of Spencer, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
