Pastor Johnny Ray Moore, Sr. was born on October 18, 1958 to Sampson and Norma Moore. He was the third of ten children.

Pastor Moore believed FAMILY is one of the strongest systems on this earth, and that righteous living is the only way to live after you have accepted the Lord as your Savior.

Pastor Moore leaves his wife, Ryland Moore, who he loved and cared for, protected and provided for 30 years as of August 31, 2021. He leaves his teaching and instructions to his children, Johnny Ray, Jr., Brandon LaMar, Julius Donnell, Deya Raeshawn, Ronje LaRhome and Christy Lachell. He also leaves his siblings, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He leaves God's Word with the people of Harrison Bethel Baptist Church.
