In loving memory of Mr. Ovie Brewer Jr. who was born on December 6, 1946 to Ovie Sr. and Ruth Ray Brewer in Grant , Oklahoma.
He attended Dunbar Elementary, FD Moon Jr. High School and graduated from Douglass High School in 1966. After graduating he began driving semi trucks for Kentucky Fried Chicken and later retired from National Can Company of Oklahoma City as Foreman. He was drafted to the U.S. Army on May 7, 1971 where he served for 2 years and earned Expert Rifle and National Defense Service medals.
In 1970 he married his high school sweetheart Ms. Loretta Ann Adkins, within this union five children were born. He was preceded in death by both parents and son Ovie R Brewer. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Loretta Brewer, his children, Revetta Brewer, LaVell brown (Helen), Meli Brewer and Kimberly Brewer, a sister, Carolyn Dickerson, a daughter-in-law, Sonya Brewer, thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
His Journey
?Don't think of him as gone away, his
journey's just begun, Life on this
earth is just one...
Just think of him as resting from the
sorrows and the tears, in a place of
warmth and comfort where there are
no days and years...
Think how he must be wishing that
we could know today how nothing
but our sadness can really pass away.
Always think of him as living in the
hearts of those he touched...
For nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much...
