She could rattle off a person's contact information from memory. She later honed her career to 50 years of nursing at Integris Baptist Medical Center.
She was blessed to have 4 children. During her union with Red Mukes, she bore two sons, Richard Lee Brown and Kenneth Garcia Mukes. Novella was united in Holy Matrimony to Floyd Reid, December20, 1945. To this union two children were born, Betty Lee and Ernest Reid.
Novella departed this life and entered into her heavenly home on Monday January 13, 2020 in Spencer, Oklahoma. Her kind and generous spirit will truly be missed.

Those that remain to celebrate her life are Betty Lee, Ernest Reid, Kenneth Mukes; sisters - Lois Dumas, Sharon Jones, Edna Mayfield and Gwendolyn Johnson; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Novella Reid left to be celebrated.
Life is But a Stopping Place
Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what's to be, a resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, different paths along the way, we all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place, far greater than we know, for some the journey's quicker, for some the journey's slow and when the journey finally ends, we'll claim a great reward, and find an everlasting peace, together with the Lord. May the Work I've Done Speak for Me
