Obituary
Nolan Navarreau Roper was born September 16, 1950 to
Kenneth and Mertis Jean Roper in Guthrie, Oklahoma, he
was the fourth of six children. He accepted Christ at
an early age at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church, Guthrie,
OK. 

He received his education at Guthrie Public School and
graduated from Guthrie High School in 1968. 
Nolan engineering career was over 50-years. 

He was married to Loretta Sanders of Guthrie, OK and 
three daughters were born to this union.

Nolan later moved to Oklahoma City, where he met and
married Carolyn Jones of Ruston, Louisiana, a son Derek
completed Nolan's immediate family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers:
Harley, Donald and Ronald Roper.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife Carolyn, three
daughters: Angela (Deven) Johnson-Filer of Largo, FL, 
Terri (Charlie) West of OKC, OK and Chrystal (Noel) Sobalvarro,
of Riverview, FL, one son: Derek (Chaquita) Jones of OKC, OK.
One granddaughter, Christina Roper, six grandsons: Aaron
Johnson, Adam Johnson, Dylan West, Treylon Jones, Deven Filer,
Jr., and Deion Filer. Four great grandchildren: Jayden, Kaden, 
Rayden and Rylee. One sister: Beverly (Roscoe) Burton of 
Detroit, MI. One brother: Erdis (Linda) Roper of Sand Springs,
OK. Five sisters-in law, two brothers-in-law, a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
