Melva Loraine Evans was born January 5, 
1944 to Samuel Evans and Florence Daigle-
Evans in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Melva met Hollis, Lloyd and were united
in marriage for 56-years, to their union
two children were born, Andrea and David.
Melva was preceded in death by her parents,
husband Hollis Lloyd, her second father
James Spikes, her son-in-law Michael
Gaddis, her brothers, Rodney Buckins and
Sanuel Evans, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her 
daughter Andrea Gaddis, David Lloyd, her
brother Vernon Williams, her grandchildren
Kameron Lloyd, David Lloyd, Jr., Lyric
Lloyd, Lunden Gaddis, Braeden Lloyd, Roman
Gaddis, Reese Lloyd, goddaughters Angela
Robertson, and Gwen Dubose, a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, many other extended family
members, special children, and many friends.
