Mary M. Owens Johnson born October 25, 1939, to Gilbert and Ruby Owens in Spencer, OK. She married LC McFadden and to this union a child was born Lonnie McFadden. She later married Vernon Johnson. Mary surrendered her life to Christ and was baptized at an early age. She became a faithful member of Church of God and Temple of the Holy Ghost Lighthouse Church and later Serenity Baptist Church. She worked for Oklahoma City Public Schools for Child Nutrition Services where she later retired. She also worked for Shipman Café and N.W. Nursing Center. She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband Vernon Johnson, Helen Johnson, four brothers: Leroy, Harold, Clarence, and Jackie; four sisters: Gertrude, Lucille, Pauline, and Philistine. Mary leaves to cherish her memories her son Lonnie McFadden, Leroy Johnson and her brother Gilbert Owens, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
