Mae E. Todd was born in 1940 to Printiss Todd and I.V. Todd. She accepted Christ at an early age.

In the mid-1950s the family moved from the east side/Spencer, OK to Los Angeles, CA. In 1958 she met and married William Ewell in Los Angeles, and to this union four children were born. She would later have four more children. In 1974 she met Billy West, and their union would last until her death.

Mae leaves William Ewell (Cece), Kim Ewell, Kevin Ewell (Jessa), Melissa Ewell, Jason Ewell (Stacy), Leland Todd, Lola Goosby, Christopher Ewell (Allenette) and Kolet West.

Proceeding her in death are her parents, her grandparents, one sister and two brothers; her husband Mr. Billy R. West; and William L. Ewell.

Ms. Todd is a former student of Dunjee High School and a graduate of Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles. She is one of the founding members of The Head Start Program for Oklahoma and an activist of civil rights. She also leaves to cherish her memory friends, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and God children.
