Lois Marie Foreman was born on April 14th, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri to parents Clarence James Sr. and Louise Wilson James. Her parents preceded her in death.
She departed this life on Saturday September 10, 2022. She was a graduate of historical Dunbar High School Okmulgee, OK Class of 1965. She was a cheerleader and majorette in the marching band. She was an officer in the Home Economics Department. She was very popular and everyone who knew her loved her.
She had an infectious personality and would draw people together, especially her classmates. She would organize gatherings through out her life and in her later adult years she would organize the Jamborees for her graduating class. She loved to dance and prepare Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with her mother. She loved organizing to the extent that she planned all her own birthday parties.
She was the oldest of seven children: four girls and three boys. Lois took her role as the oldest child very seriously. She made sure that everyone knew she was in charge.
Lois Marie James reconnected with Alfred Foreman after he returned from military service, dated, fell in love, and married on June 3, 1967. Shortly after the marriage they moved to Spencer, Oklahoma and started a family of three boys; Dawon Lamont Foreman, LeMel Maurice Foreman, and Tramaine LaRon Foreman. Her children were heavily involved in athletics which led to her being the Cheerleader Sponsor. She personally made all of the team's cheerleading outfits working alongside her husband Alfred, who organized the Spencer Cougar Little League Organization. These activities led to her sons receiving athletic scholarships. Dawon received a basketball scholarship to West Texas State University. LeMel received a scholarship to the University of Texas, recruited by his uncle, Clarence James Jr. Tramaine attended and played football at Langston University. Lois had the gift of helping and loving people, which led her to a career as a Home Healthcare Provider which spanned over 30 years.
