Lewis Cliffton "Cookie" Robinson, Jr., he was born on August 30, 1956 to
the union of Lewis C. Robinson, Sr. and Ruth Smith Johnson in Chicago,
Illinois.  His relationship with Christ began at an early age and he was
Baptized by Reverend Clay Evans.

He attended Chicago Public Schools, graduated from Austin High School.
Immediately following graduation Lewis attended Langston University on
a Football Scholarship.  He was known to lovingly remove his competitors
from the Football Field.  While attending Langston University in 1989 he joined
United Baptist Church where he served as the Assistant Pastor for over 35 years
until his heavenly promotion.

During his matriculation through Langston University he joined the brotherhood
of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., where he was affectionately known as "Big
Brother Haze".

On April 02, 1980 Lewis  married his college sweetheart and forever love, Elaine
Harmon. To this union three children were born:  Lewis (III), Tegen, and Emmanuel.
he also the Uncle/Daddy to Robert and Michael.

He leaves to cherish his memory:  his wife of 41 years: Elaine Robinson; five children
Lewis (Sharane) Robinson III, Tegen Robinson (Anna Murphy - God-daughter),
Emmanuel Robinson, Robert (Natalia) Harmon, Michael (MacKenzie) Harmon; one
brother: Al Rufus (Lasandra), Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister; Julia Cornelius-Harmon
four grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, church family and community. His parents
preceded him in death.
