Larry Henry Sr. was born to Margaretta Carroll and Hubert Claude on July 9, 1956, at 8:39a.m. in Hollis, OK. He was proceeded in death by both parents. Larry graduated from U.S. Grant in 1974, where he was a basketball star. He worked as a Ford Dealership Detailer from 1975-1984. The City of OKC in Parks and Recreation for 10 years and did maintenance for Sam's Club for 8 years.

Larry was married to Cheryle Hawkins and had 4 children to this union: Shafina Henry, Jamille Hawkins, Larry Henry Jr., Kiska Johnson. In 1991 Niesha Highshaw was born. Jevanah Highshaw in 1988. Through his children he was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Larry was the joy of his family a kind spirited, fun loving man, just knowing he was coming, his family would wait all day just to spend time in his company. He loved his children and adored his grandchildren and adored every moment with his great grandchildren.

He leaves behind 12 siblings, 4 sister, 8 brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
