Joy Lynn (Horton) Robinson was born May 13, 1959, in Oklahoma City, OK to Rozella and Glenn Horton. She grew up in Spencer, OK with her siblings and grandmother. Joy attended Dunjee High School. Later, in life she met and married Joe Robinson of Shreveport, LA in which they started a family. Joy lived up to her name. She brought Joy and laughter and love to everyone she came across. If you met her, and she liked you, you were no longer a friend, you were family.

Joy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great grands, "Maw Ma"" was her name. Joy raised her kids and helped raise her grands and great grands, there was no need for daycare when you had Maw Maw.

Joy gained her wings on December 15, 2022. She is preceded by her mother, father, grandparents, two brothers, a son, and a grandson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a husband, Joe Robinson; three children, Monica and Joe Hollins, Laquita Robinson all of Midwest City, OK; Ethan Robinson of Midwest City, OK; nine grandkids; seven great grandkids; three sisters, Lanita (Horton) Walton of Midwest City, OK, Tiba Horton and Michelle Horton both of Plano, Texas; five brothers, Glen Horton Jr. of Spencer, OK, Will Horton of Jones, OK, Ronald Horton, Frank Horton of Spencer, OK, John Horton of Oklahoma City, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
