Javonte Tyrone Blount was born to Ms. Shaylynn Surratt and Mr. Kelly Blount on July 8th, 1993.
Javonte was a devoted worker at Southern Wire and assisted as a caregiver for his great-grandfather Mr. Bennie Surratt. He was a loving son, father, brother, and uncle. He loved spending time with family. He was very passionate about fine art which included making, listening, and dancing to music. Javonte never met a stranger and was sure to leave a lasting impression.
Javonte Tyrone Blount took his eternal rest July 23rd, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK surrounded by loved ones. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers Bennie Jean Surratt and Joann Lee.
Javonte leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Princess Gi'Auni. His loving mother Shaylynn Surratt of Oklahoma City, OK. His father Kelly (Angie) Blount of North Carolina. His grandfather Jessie (Kaye) Robins of Tulsa, OK. His sister Sakeina Surratt, of South Carolina. Seven brothers Juanne Blount, Tash, Jamie, Anton, and Stephon Clyburn all of North Carolina. Kenneth and Kenshaun Layfayette of Oklahoma City, OK. A host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Javonte's bright spirit will be missed. We know he is dancing and rejoicing!
