James Earl Bookman Jr. was born in Lawton, OK to James Sr. and Annie Louise Bookman, on June 22, 1961 as he grew he attended Oklahoma schools. he graduated from Star Spencer High School maintaining above 4.0 grade average. He was a math whiz and it was his favorite subject. He worked many different jobs; carpenter, apprentice, plumbing, master mechanic and many other trades. He truly was a jack of all trades and he masted them all. His favorite pastime was going fishing. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife and best friend Vanessa Bookman: sons Malik (Madison) Bookman of Houston, TX, Kenneth (Trionna ) Franklin of Wichita, KS, Corry (Pamela) Franklin of Plano, TX: daughters Laversa (Candice) Stewart of Arlington, TX, Amanda Bougere of Wichita, KS, Laminnie (Steve) Bush of Oklahoma City, OK; there were other children he was blessed to be a father of and he loved them all. Preceding him in death was his beloved mother Annie Louise Lasky and father James Earl Bookman Sr.
