Jacquitta R.
Couts
May 13, 1961 — Sep 27, 2022
Jacquitta Resha Hollins-Couts was born to Rachel l. Pennon and Clarence E. Hollins on May 13, 1961, in Oklahoma City, OK. Rahcel then married noble Crosby Jr., and to this union were three children, Jacquitta, Angela J. Threatt, and Noble Crosby III. Jacquitta gave her life to Christ at an early age. She often went with her PawPaw, Elder Johnnie Johnson, to Brooksville COGIC with all her cousins. Jacquitta also attended Millwood and Midwest City High Schools. Upon finishing school, Jacquitta later married Van E. Couts. To this union were two children, Aquaneasha Hollins and Vatricia Couts. Jacquitta worked for Seagate Technology in accounts payable for several years as well as other jobs. She met so many friends turned family across the world. Jacquitta once again returned to her love of horses and rodeos! With daughters right by her side, Tricia riding, and Aquaneasha taking pictures. So many memories. Jacquitta had to step away from swing dancing with her Grenedier Family, and love of rodeos, to care for her family Noble, Clarence, Rachel, and a host of other loved ones, whom she gave her time, and unconditional love.
Jacquitta passed peacefully at home with her daughter, Aquaneasha at her bedside. She fought a battle with colon cancer and was called home. Left to cherish her memories, Aquaneasha M. Hollins (daughter), Vatricia R. Couts (daughter), Angela J. Thrett (sister), Kristy Whitfield (sister), Jennifer Franklin (sister), Caren Ellison (sister), Clarence E. Hollins (brother), Kelvin Hollins (brother) Buck Wendell Johnson Hollins (brother), Jackie Whitfield (sister), Derrek Hollins (brother), James E. Whitfield Jr. (brother), Jeffrey Whitfield (brother).
And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. The family of Jacquitta would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for all your thoughts, prayers, calls, and extended kindness and support shown.
Special Thanks to: Kristine Whitfiled, Renee, Brender Jackson, Vivian Hampton, St. Anthony Hospital & Hospice.
