Irma Jean Carr was born to Lafayette and Bertha (Daniels) Carr on
September 9, 1947 in Boley, Oklahoma.

Irma attended Sand Creek Elementary School and Boley High School,
graduating with honors in 1965.  Upon graduation from Boley High School,
Irma enrolled in Langston University.

Upon graduation from Langston University, Irma was recruited by the federal
government for employment at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Irma retired from the government and moved back home to Boley, Oklahoma to
be with her mother and close family. Irma spent the last five years of her live
living in Houston, Texas to be close to her niece and nephew.

Irma Jean's loving father and mother preceded her in death. She was also preceded
in death by a baby sister. Irma leaves to cherish her memories, two dedicated sisters;
Bernice Lewis (Sherman), Brenda Ceasar; one niece Orgena Lewis Singleton (Eric); one
grand niece, Erica Singleton; two nephews, Sherman Lewis III (Nicole) and Bryan Ceasar; two
grand nephews; Sherman Lewis IV, and Nicholas Lewis, two loving aunts; Lula Mae Marzett
and Ms. Vivian Daniels and many faithful cousins, a host of other loving relatives and friends.
