Inell Simpkins was born on June 3, 1933, in Chatham, LA. She was the fifth of ten children born to Charlie and Rose Jackson. Inell married Robert Jackson in 1949 and to this union, eleven children were born. After moving to Oklahoma City with her family she started her career of twenty-six years at Lucent Technologies. She was also a life-long member of Northeast Church of Christ where she enjoyed attending Sunday school and making joyful noise. Of Inell's many favorite past times, fishing was her favorite. Some of the family and friend's fondest memories of Inell are centered around fishing. Left to cherish Inell's memory is her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
