Florence Combs was born April 20, 1944, to union of Nelson and Gracie Johnson of Arcadia, OK. She gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, October 27, 2022. She graduated from high school in Los Angeles, CA in 1963, mover back to Oklahoma and accepted Christ at an early age at Arcadia Methodist Church.

Florence married Sterling Combs, Sr. in 1965. They have three sons and one daughter. She was a loving mother, a homemaker, and an entrepreneur. She loved cooking and became famous for her Cajun catfish. Combs Concessions Catering was known at outdoor events statewide. Her heart, hands, and habits reflect the service of God as she became a foster parent. She enjoyed life, family, and friends.

Florence leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 57 years Sterling Combs Sr.; three sons: Keith Combs of Oklahoma City, OK, Sterling Combs Jr. of Aurora, CO, Marcus Combs of Spencer, OK; one daughter: Kim Williams (James) of Spencer, OK; her sister: Marie Williams of Coyle, OK; stepchildren: Marie Boone and Mandy Harjo; adopted children: Sylvester, Destiny, Hershel, Javion; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
