Evia Rose Labeau was peacefully called to her eternal home into God's hands on July 25, 2022 at the age of 84. Evia was born on May 28, 1938  in New Orleans, LA to the union of the late Walter Pijeaux, Sr. and Eunice Arceneaux Beverotte Pijeaux. She is survived by her children: Shelia Henderson and Norman LaBeau Jr.; grandchildren, a brother, sister and friend, and a host of in laws, relatives and friends. Evia was a was a member of the St. Jude 50 Plus Club. She enjoyed spending time with her best friends, walking, listening to music, and watching different types of award shows. Her favorite foods to cook were okra gumbo, shrimp creole, red beans and rice, and dirty rice. Evia prayed for her family and friends every night. She will always be known for her thoughtfulness and kindness.
