Eddie Jewel Jones was born January 31st, 1954, in Shreveport, LA to Lawerence Johnson Sr. and Carine Johnson.  Her father and one brother (Micheal Norvell Johnson) preceded her in death.

Eddie was the third of eleven children and came from a loving home where her parents instilled in here the importance of hard work, family and a love of God.

Eddie attended Walnut Hill Elementary in Shreveport, LA and later graduated from Northeast High School here in Oklahoma City.

In 1979 Eddie met the love of her life Edward W. Jones Sr. and after a short courtship they married on November 19th.  From this union they blended their families, which included one boy and one girl.

Eddie leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband of 42 years, Edward W. Jones Sr., on daughter, Felicia Brown (Ronnie) of OKC; one son, Edward W. Jones Jr., (Tracey) of New Jersey; two grand-daughters, Kourtney Jones and Brennah Jones; three sisters, Janice Plunkett, Jean Combs (Roland), and Linda Johnson; six brothers, Lawrence Johnson (Phyllis) of Choctaw, James Johnson (Margaret), Jerry Johnson, Leon Johnson (Jackie), Charles Johnson, Bruce Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
