Dorothy Jean Hill was born November 26, 1940 to Solomon and Florence (Cole) Benson in Birmingham, AL. Dorothy was the fifteenth child of sixteen children born. She surrended her life to Christ at an early age.

Dorothy married Sherman Jerome Hill and remained for 40 years, to this union four children were adjoined. She traveled with her husband in the military and later she entered the medical field in 2014.

She was blessed with 14-grandchildren. God allowed her to raise two of her grandchildren as her very own.
