Obituary

Diane Jackson was born to Bobbie Gaines and Ralph Jackson on January 12, 1962, in Oklahoma City, OK. Diane was the fourth of five children born to Bobbie Bradly. She was raised and nurtured from a young child by Bobbie and William (Bill) Gaines. She attended school in Oklahoma City Public Schools. She was baptized at an early age. Diane gave birth to three beautiful children and was a loving and warm mother. She continued her life as a loving grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, friend, and a true angel of God.

She was a hard worker and provided for her family. She worked for Globe Life Insurance until she was unable to meet the physical demands. Though she was unable to meet the demands of a full-time job, she was willing to serve in the church alongside Bill, Bernice and the Mt. Rose family. Her smile and laughter would light up a room. Even if she didn't feel well, you would never know she was in pain. Her soul was set to help others through their pain, trials and tribulations. Diane understood the assignment God had for her and she carried it out with a smile.

Diane is preceded in death by her mother, father, 3 brothers; Larry Joe Bradley, Gary Thompson and Layefette (Pete) Gaines Sr., friend Bridge Pickett, and grandson; Marlon Carter.

She leaves to mourn her four children, Kendall Jackson (Latrisha), Von'Tina Tyler, Shante Jackson, and Shemika Tyler; a sister, Evelyn Fields (Freddie); Bernice Gaines and a loving friend Johnnie Richardson; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and uncles.

A special thanks to Freddie and Evelyn Fields, Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church and Marty and Coy Jenkins, devoted friends.
