Obituary

Darlene C. Scott was born February 3, 1936 to Ms. Elizabeth Brown and Mr. Wilbert Coleman in Stroud, Oklahoma. She attended Stroud Public Schools and graduated from Frederick Douglas High School in Oklahoma City.

Darlene worked at Western Electric for many years, later at Tinker AFB where she retired.

Darlene is preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother, Wilbert Coleman Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons: Melvin, Randall, and Floyd, one daughter: Debbie all of Oklahoma City, OK, ten grandchildren, great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Weep Not For Me

Weep not for me, though I have gone into that gentle night. Grieve if you will, but not too long, and upon my soul's sweet flight. I am at peace, my soul's at rest.. There is no need for tears, for with your love I was so Blessed, for all those many years. There is no pain, I suffer not, the fear is now all gone. Put now these things out of your thought, and in your memory I will live on. Remember not my fight for breath, remember not the strife, but, please, do not dwell upon my death, but do celebrate my new Life...
