Obituary
Charles Edward Swindle was born April 26, 1950 to Elnora 
(Swindle) Walker and Norah Walker, Jr. in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma, he was the first child of ten children.
He attended Carter G. Woodson Elementary School. He 
continued his education, and received his High School
Equivalency in 1984. He graduated top of his class in
Electronic Technology in 1988 from the college of 
National Technology. He worked at Remington Park as an
Electronic Technician for 20 years before retiring in
2011.
Charles met and married Verna (May) Swindle on March
20, 1983, and to this union they blended their family
with three sons, two daughters, grandson.
Charles was preceded in death by both parents, one
daughter, one brother.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Korey Nelson, Neal
Johnson and Trevel Cummings (grandson), Kim Bruner
and Adrianna Cravens all of Oklahoma City, OK, eight
sisters: Alberta Jones, Leatricia Walker Norwood, 
Terry Murray, Nevie Walker, Lynell Walker, Michelle
Walker and Rhea Savage of Oklahoma City, Lenora
Walker of North Carolina, all the children, a
host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

knowing that while we are at
home in the body we are absent
from the Lord.

pleased rather to be absent
