Arnez Julius Jones was the fourth born son born unto Charles Jones Sr. and Joyce Marie Franklin Jones on February 28, 1978 in Jones, OK. He attended Jones High School. Shortly after graduating, Arnez joined the US Army where he briefly served and received an honorable discharge. He was disabled during his service and was able to retire with full benefits.

In the community, Arnez accepted Christ and united with Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Jones, OK at an early age. He was in the choir and served as Usher for most of his youth. In his leisure he enjoyed time with family, fishing, camping and yardwork.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather.

Arnez departed this life to be with his Father on January 19, 2023. Arnez leaves to cherish his memories his grandmother Mattie Franklin-Smiley of Oklahoma City, OK; mother Joyce Jones of Wichita, KS; brothers Allen Jones (Rose) and Arron Jones (Amy) of Fargo, ND; honorary brothers, Carlos Franklin of Oklahoma City, OK and Calvin Russell (Michelle) of Atlanta, GA; honorary sisters, Carla Mitchell (Howard) of Edmond, OK Therese Russell of Atlanta, GA; sisters Michelle Hampton (Cleon) Rochelle Fails (Solomon) as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
