Annie Ree Barber was born February 21, 1937 in Castle, Oklahoma, in Okfuskee County. Annie was the third child born to the union of LeRoy Sr. and Mattie(Laskey) Henderson.

Annie met and married the love of her life Alfred Barber Jr., and to this union four children were born. Three daughters, Sylvia Barber, Loretta Barber and Louise(Wayne) Carter. One son, Alfred Barber III who preceded her in death along with her husband Alfred Barber Jr. She also had five brothers and three sisters who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory; eleven grand children, a host of great grand children and two great great grand children. Brother: Edward Henderson(Norma), Lorenzo Henderson(Pauletta), Billy Henderson, Tony Henderson, Arnold Lee Henderson,  Ronnie (Amy) Lee Henderson, and Gerald Lee. Sisters: Willie Mae Smith, Louella Brown, Rev. Emma Campbell and Lillie Keys; two sisters in law, Annie Henderson and Dorothy Henderson, one aunt Eddie Faye Henderson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Also, she leaves in memory a special mother in law, Oneda Barber and a special aunt Gertrude Jefferson.
