Obituary
Adelyn (Scott) Lewis was born September 21, 1950 
to Louisiana Scott and C.N. Newton in Big Spring,
Texas, she was the only child.
She met and married Decell Lewis on May 12, 1971.
Adelyn was preceded in death by her husband, both
parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters:
Colisha Lewis-Gardner, LuCarralynn Nolan, five
grandchildren: Nichole, Kaleb, Devrall, Leah and
Christian. Sisters-in-love, Mattie Hicks, and
Mattie L Lewis, with a host of godchildren, nieces,
nephews, cousins, many other extended family
members and many dear friends.

The Lord is my light and my salvation,
whom shall I fear? The Lord is the
strength of my life of whom shall I
be afraid?
One thing I have desired of the Lord,
that will I seek, that I may dwell in
the house of the Lord, all the days
of my life, to behold the beauty of
the Lord.
